High-Speed Door
The GLG UL motor is an operator specifically designed for industrial doors. The operator prevents the door from descending in the event of a power failure and must be mounted directly on the door barrel. This operator line also integrates a frequency inverter (VFD) within the operator, a novel feature in the industry. This provides the advantages of smooth starting and stopping.

If the indicated duty cycle is exceeded, reduce the door cycles and/or the door weight and/or increase the drive size. Contact GLG’s technical department to discuss the application.
Drives without an electric brake have a self-sustaining gear and stop automatically. When driven with an electric brake, stopping is done using an external electric brake. Brake inspections should always be performed by qualified personnel.
For large and heavy doors, manual operation is only used to close the door. In the case of drive units with an electric brake, the manual chain operator works against the activated brake.
The opening and closing speeds must be set according to the door dimensions. These speeds must comply with safety standards to prevent any accidents.
Our doors come with a 15-month warranty for manufacturing defects and a 2-year warranty for motor operation.
Our dock levelers have a 2-year warranty on structural components and a 1-year warranty on electrical components.
